[Update 20 Aug 2024] Following its return in May 2024, the Nike Cortez “Forrest Gump” is scheduled for a restock once more on 8 October.

Cinema indubitably has a big influence in fashion and sports. Think the PF Flyers Center Hi immortalized in the 1993’s The Sandlot, or the Nike MAG in Back to the Future Part II. Nevertheless, none have been made as iconic by a movie more than the Nike Cortez and its “Forrest Gump” colorway, renamed after the eponymous film.

Originally released in 2018, followed by a “Basic” model in 2019, the “Forrest Gump” Nike Cortez is back, better than ever. Last year, CLOT even gave the silhouette a major, albeit creative, retrofitting. But this 2024 reintroduction will stay faithful to its classic White, Varsity Red, Varsity Blue, and Metallic Silver makeup.

As remembered, white leather forms the base layer, complemented by bold red accents on the Swooshes, tongue branding, and heel overlay; a pop of blue on the midsole stripe; with shiny silver lace dubraes adding a touch of class. All of the aforementioned atop a waffle rubber outsole.

The Nike Cortez “Forrest Gump” is scheduled to return on 1 May 2024. Find them then on Nike SNKRS with an RRP of US$110.
