[Update 2 May 2024] Despite official images surfacing, courtesy of Sole Retriever, the release of the Nike Air Jordan 12 “Red Taxi” has been pushed back by a week to 25 May 2024. There’s some good news, though! The silhouette will also be available in a family-sized run, retailing at US$200 (men’s), US$160 (GS), US$100 (PS), and US$85 (TD) respectively.

The Nike Air Jordan 12 is most remembered for its black and white iteration, but the “Taxi” colorway released in 1997 remains a fan favorite. Thus, the release of the “Red Taxi” this summer.

The upper is constructed with a pristine white tumbled leather, accented with sleek black on the mudguard, lining, and heel. The iconic black and white remains the foundation, but a touch of fiery Gym Red ignites the “Jumpman” overlays and branding. A black rubber outsole rounds out its design.

For now, the Nike Air Jordan 12 “Red Taxi” is scheduled to drop on 18 May with an RRP of US$200. Stay tuned for more images in the coming weeks!
