[Update 11 Jun 2024] The JJJJound x adidas Originals collaboration on the Superstar 82 and 90 will be pushed back to a Spring/Summer 2025 release instead of a Fall/Winter 2024. Additionally, contrary to earlier information, the pairs will be made in Japan instead of Germany like their prior Samba collab.

JJJJound have worked with plenty of stalwarts in the status quo, with their collaborations with Salomon and New Balance being some standouts from last year. Moving forward, the elusive Montreal-based studio is setting its sights on a true titan: adidas Originals.

While details remain under wraps, whispers point towards reimagined versions of the Superstar 82 MIG and Superstar 90 MIG, two of adidas Originals’ most beloved silhouettes. Expect JJJJound’s signature minimalist touch—think buttery-soft leathers, muted yet sophisticated color palettes—once more redefining these classics for a contemporary audience.

The rollout is likely to take place in November as part of JJJJound’s Fall/Winter 2024 lineup. Rumors suggest a price tag of US$250 per pair so buckle up! More images and details should emerge in the coming months.
