Nike Air Footscape Woven “NAI-KE” Geared for Spring 2024
Merging traditional craftsmanship with contemporary style.
Nike Air Footscape Woven “NAI-KE” is set to release as part of Nike’s Spring 2024 lineup. This release is a continuation of Nike’s “NAI-KE” collection, after silhouettes like Nike Cortez and Air Force 1 Low, which pays homage to the brand’s significant presence in Asian markets and its Chinese manufacturing roots.
The “NAI-KE” series, known for its intricate designs, draws inspiration from traditional basket weaving methods, evident in its distinctive woven overlay. It began as a celebration of Nike’s Asian influence, dating back over three decades.
This year’s edition, the Nike Air Footscape Woven “NAI-KE”, stands out as the first Asia-exclusive non-heritage model to join this collection. A blend of cultural appreciation and modern design, it is a testament to Nike’s ongoing exploration of new expressions in footwear.
The sneaker features a sail suede upper complemented by purple leather on the inner lining. The signature woven overlay is presented in a mix of purple, olive, and brown hues, offering a distinctive look.
The design is rounded off with a white midsole and a classic gum tread, providing both style and comfort. Additionally, the lace ornaments are designed to resemble wooden beads, featuring the phonetic “NAI-KE”, adding a special touch to the overall aesthetic.
Priced at US$160, the Nike Air Footscape Woven “NAI-KE” is expected to be available for purchase during Spring 2024.
