Timothée Chalamet Channels the Eccentric Chocolatier on His “Wonka” Nike Dunk Low
Only five pairs made to be given away to the winners of the #WonkaPureImaginationContest.
Ahead of the highly anticipated Wonka film premiere on 15 December, Timothee Chalamet embarked on a collaboration with Nike to design a unique Dunk Low inspired by his eponymous character.
The Nike Dunk Low “Wonka” perfectly captures the essence of the eccentric chocolatier’s cinematic wardrobe. The upper features a vibrant pattern reminiscent of the interior of Wonka’s jacket, while the burgundy velvet tongue mirrors the coat.

Adding to the magical touch, the heel tab showcases the iconic cloud candy from the new film, while the tongue boasts a brown leather tab adorned with Wonka’s recognizable “W” logo.
Chalamet drew inspiration from classic Dunks like the “What The Dunk” and the distinctive layered Swooshes from sacai x Nike. The intentional distressed detailing pays homage to the youthful Wonka’s attire.
To ensure authenticity, Chalamet even brought his movie jacket to Nike’s Beaverton campus as a visual reference for the design team.
