[Update 4 Oct 2024] According to Sneaker News, the Stash x Nike Air Max 95 (2024) will have some noteworthy differences compared to the original. The Stash Air Max 95, like its predecessor, the Stash x Nike Air Force 1 Low Retro, features a contemporary update with new materials and details.

The iconic nylon base layer from the 2006 original has been retained, potentially enhancing its protective and water-resistant properties. Notably, the eyelets now feature open loops instead of being concealed under the light blue overlay. In contrast, the slightly darker blue panel is now constructed from a taped material rather than suede.

The color gradient has also been adjusted, transitioning from a darker navy to a lighter shade, deviating from the all-grey toe and panels seen in the original release.

Stash, one of the graffiti’s pioneers and most prominent names, released a collaborative Nike Air Max 95 back in 2006. In the climate of the mid-noughts, the titular pair was considered one of the most sacred colorways, and to some—greatest.

Now, almost two decades removed, it’s purported by @bubblekoppe to be retroed in 2024.

The Stash x Nike Air Max 95 features the legendary artist’s signature blue palette, with a striking Harbor Blue dressing the durable weather-ready material on the upper.

It was the first AM 95 to adorn a speckled midsole fashioned by Stash “spraying” Harbor Blue over its Black base. The shoe also utilizes gradation to create a dusk-to-dawn look, while the aforementioned speckles give it an additional “night sky” effect.

Information and images are scant at the time of writing but if the veracity of the rumor holds true, then more details should emerge in the coming months. Stay tuned!

In other sneaker-related news, another Patta x Nike Air Max 1 is on the way.
