A Dragon Wraps Around the Swooshes on Nike’s Lunar New Year Dunk Low
To arrive just ahead of the festivities next year.
Nike has been unveiling a series of celebratory editions of their most popular silhouettes, ahead of the Lunar New Year in January. From the “Year of the Dragon” Air Force 1 to the Air Jordan 1, and it’s inevitable for the Dunk Low to join this batch of special releases.
The Nike Dunk Low “Year of the Dragon” features a White leather base with Greyscale overlays. Contrast is introduced by way of the Red hits on the sockliner, heel tabs, and insoles, adorned with playful thematic graphics.
The highlight indubitably is the velcro Swooshes on the profile, with an embroidered dragon around them to mark the occassion. All the aforementioned sit atop a White midsole and a Black rubber outsole.
They’re currently projected to arrive in January 2024 to coincide with the festivities. An exact release date should emerge in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
