[Update 22 Dec 2023] Official images of the Nike Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Year of the Dragon” have been revealed. Check them out via the top slider above, including the accompanying hangtag and accessories. Get ready for the festivities come 24 January.
Jordan Brand last month unveiled their “Year of the Dragon” collection for Chinese New Year 2024. Between the Nike Air Jordan 2, AJ38, and the recently added Spizike Low, at the vanguard is the AJ1 Low OG.
Sail, Cedar, Oil Green, Light Pumice, and Dark Team Red form the pair’s main palette. Moreover its tooling, Oil Green scaled leather overlays gives nod to the fabled creature, juxtaposed against the pair’s Sail leather base.
A regal touch is introduced through the Gold embroidered Jordan Wings branding on the heel tabs, complemented by the Dark Team Red on the profile Swooshes and laces.
Other branding elements include the “Nike Air” on the tongues in Gold, and the Jumpman on the insoles intertwined with a dragon. The design is finished off with Light Grey covering the satin liner, a white midsole and a translucent outsole.
In line with the rest of the Jordan “Year of the Dragon” collection, the Nike Air Jordan 1 Low OG will be released on 24 January 2024 with an RRP of US$160. Official images have yet to surface so expect an update when they do.
