[Update 13 Dec 2023] Until Ja Morant takes to the court again after his suspension, enjoy the new images of the Nike Ja 1 “Chinese New Year” in the gallery above, courtesy of @allinlivee.
Ja Morant is one of Nike’s newest marquee athletes. And his Ja 1 signature, despite his ongoing suspension, remains one of the brand’s most popular offerings. It’s seen some special releases this year such as the “Halloween” colorway, and another one’s already set for the Year of the Dragon.
The Nike Ja 1 “Chinese New Year” boasts a White, Game Royal, and Pure Platinum palette, with Metallic Gold accents on the profile Swooshes, heel tab, lace dubraes, and midfoot.
For its construction, the pair is crafted from a mix of mesh, leather, and ripstop, and features his “TMT” logo in Blue on the lateral heel. It also boasts a White and Blue Air Zoom-cushioned midsole atop a Blue rubber outsole.
The Nike Ja 1 “Chinese New Year” is scheduled for release on 22 January 2024. Find them then on Nike SNKRS and select retailers with an RRP of US$140 for men’s sizes, and US$105 for grade school.
