[Update 26 Feb 2024] As alluded to in the last update, the HIDDEN.NY x ASICS GEL-NYC will finally be released on 15 March at ASICS, with an RRP of 160 EUR (~US$170). There could be more avenues of release so stay tuned for an update in the coming weeks!
From Instagram moodboard, to cultural tastemaker, to finally becoming a brand imbued with the same prestige as the ones it used to cover. HIDDEN.NY once more makes its presence tangible by way of a collaboration with ASICS, who aptly offered up the GEL-NYC as a canvas. This isn’t their first with a Japanese entity having partnered with the likes of G-SHOCK and NEEDLES in recent months.
With a lone image being the Rosetta stone, there isn’t much to discern other than the iconic HIDDEN.NY logo imbedded onto the toebox, presiding over the model’s mesh base layer.
If the technical specifications stay faithful to the blueprint, then expect the HIDDEN.NY x ASICS GEL-NYC to borrow elements from prior ASICS fan-favourites, much like HIDDEN.NY’s MO: A composite of inspirations from the past, present, and future.
More details should emerge in the coming weeks so stay tuned!
