Following the likes of ONE PIECE, HIDDEN.NY and Verdy’s Wasted Youth, Japanese streetwear label A BATHING APE (BAPE) is set to drop their own watch collaboration in commemoration of their 30th anniversary.

BAPE x G-SHOCK GM-6900

Partnering with domestic watchmaker G-SHOCK, the duo presents a classic GM-6900 model, reworked with BAPE’s modern streetwear taste. Utilizing a sleek black camo print as the foundation, a contrasting gold hits the branding, button indicators and caseback. A special BAPE 30th anniversary logo then appears on the caseback, surrounded by the watch’s manufacturing details.

Replacement strap and special box packaging

Further complimenting its commemorative status, the watch comes packaged in a special suitcase-inspired box, bearing a co-branding on the front and the special logo on the inner side. A replacement strap featuring classic BAPE CAMO print will also be included, allowing versatility when it comes to styling.

Scheduled for an early release on 1 November via the Hankyu Umeda pop-store in Osaka, Japan, the BAPE x G-SHOCK GM-6900 will see a wider release via BAPE stores and bape.com starting 4 November. Retail price is set at 44,000 JPY (~US$295).
