Following an anticipate launch of the collaborative New Balance 1906R, Rei Kawakubo’s COMME des GARÇONS is ready to reunite with sportswear specialist Salomon for a unique take on the latter’s SR811 model.

This isn’t the first time the duo has worked on the SR811, as they presented a monochromatic pack a few months back. However, this upcoming release opts for an extravagant approach on design with its multi-color print on the uppers. Rounding off the look comes an ornamented layer of jewels and flower motifs that overlays the footwear.

Specific release details have yet to be confirmed for this COMME des GARÇONS x Salomon SR811 at this time, but the pair is expected to arrive as part of the Japanese label’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection.

Retail price tags are set at 137,500 JPY (~US$915) for the regular version, and 280,500 JPY (~US$1865) for the accessorized version. Stay tuned for further updates.
