[Update 19 Aug 2024] Official visuals of the Nike Kobe 9 Protro EM “Halo” Pack have surfaced online, courtesy of Sneaker Bar Detroit. The Nike Kobe 9 Elite High Protro will be released on 23 August with an RRP of US$240, while the Elite Low Protro will follow on 19 September with an RRP of US$210. [Update 16 Aug 2024] Alongside the Nike Kobe 9 Protro EM “Halo” pack, an apparel collection will be released on 23 August via SNKRS as well. Spanning lifestyle and on-court wear, pieces include a Dri-Fit hoodie, a collared full-zip sweater, basketball shorts, and a jersey. [Update 4 Jul 2024] Sole Retriever have released their own mockups of the High and Low versions of the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Protro “Halo”, alongside an in-hand look. The pack is confirmed for release on Kobe Bryant’s birthday on 23 August with an RRP of US$240 for the Highs, and US$210 for the Lows.

Back in August, Nike and Vanessa Bryant unveiled the commemorative Kobe “Halo” collection for Mamba Day, debuting the seraphic Nike Kobe 8 Protro. In continuance of the annual memorial event, next year’s entry to the series will feature the Kobe 9 Protro EM “Halo”.

Like its predecessor, the titular pair boasts a “Triple White” color scheme, with an engineered mesh and dynamic Flywire construction. A staple motif across the Kobe line, his signature is imprinted on the lateral heel, while his Sheath logo takes center stage on the tongues and insoles.

For now, the Nike Kobe 9 Protro EM “Halo” has been scheduled to drop on 23 August next year, on Kobe Bryant’s birthday. More details and images should surface in the coming months so stay tuned!
