Spotify and Barcelona Release Limited-Edition The Rolling Stones Kit for El Clásico

A celebration of the band's forthcoming album, Hackney Diamonds. Their first batch of original material in 18 years.

Spotify and Barcelona presents a limited-edition The Rolling Stones kit ahead of Barcelona’s highly anticipated El Clásico bout with fellow Spanish football giant, Real Madrid next weekend.

The kit features the British Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s iconic Tongue and Lips logo in place of the Spotify branding on the jersey’s front. The design is a celebration of the band’s forthcoming album, Hackney Diamonds, scheduled for release on 20 October.

This one-off jersey succeeds the Drake and Rosalía kits Barcelona wore last season. Both jerseys were imprinted with the artists’ logos, replacing the Spotify shirt sponsor to celebrate an achievement. Drake’s accolade was reaching 50 billion streams on Spotify, while Rosalía’s was to mark the release of her smash-hit album, Motomami.

On this incoming collaboration, The Rolling Stones said: “We’re huge football fans and honored that Spotify has brought our Tongue and Lips logo to grace the FC Barcelona shirt to celebrate the release of The Stones’ new Hackney Diamonds album.

“We’ll be cheering on the players on the pitch as well as fans around the world who will be tuning in to watch this iconic match.”

The limited-edition kit will be available via FC Barcelona’s official webstore from 23 October. Moreover, the jerseys will also come alongside a select number of signed kits from the men’s and women’s starting 11.
