[Update 17 Oct 2023] The Salomon x Boris Bidjan Saberi 11S Footwear A.B.1 is releasing on 17 October, but the triple black pair reported earlier won’t be arriving alone. It will be accompanied by another all white colorway, as well as an array of technical apparel and accessories such as socks, pants, t-shirts, and bags. Head over to Salmon’s website and get yours. 

Inspired by 25 years of bouldering, the 11S FOOTWEAR A.B.1. conveys the visual and functional cues of the sport through the distinct construction and material choices of the upper. The latest addition to the collaborative portfolio of 11 by Boris Bidjan Saberi and Salomon, embodies a unique duality between aesthetic exploration and high-performance gear.

Part of a larger collection inclusive of apparel, the upper is built with a durable and breathable mesh, with synthetic overlays that provide support and protection in key areas. Its design also features a lacing system that wraps around the entirety of the foot, providing a secure and customized fit.

The outsole is made from a sticky rubber compound that provides excellent traction on a variety of surfaces, from slick rock to polished gym holds; while the midsole is made from a lightweight and responsive foam that provides cushioning and support.

Set to arrive in “Black” and “White”, the Salomon x Boris Bidjan Saberi 11S Footwear A.B.1 is scheduled for release on 17 October at Salmon’s official website for US$315.
