Mizuno unveils a new pair of leather shoes equipped with the sole technology of its flagship model, the Wave Prophecy. The shoes are more than a revival of an original product, but one that expresses the Japanese legacy sportswear brand’s “tradition and innovation.”

Aesthetically, the upper adopts the style of traditional moccasins, with a wide opening and laces leaning toward the forefoot. Maintaining the conventional design of the shoes while improving comfort, Mizuno’s signature Sky Medal structure is integrated in the interior with an added a strap to support the fit in the midfoot area.

The sole unit is indubitably the pair’s highlight. Overhauled with Mizuno’s proprietary Wave Prophecy midsole, a hollow infinity structure plate not only minimizes the cause of midsole sagging, but also introduces a comfort reserved for performance footwear.

In addition, the outsole underfoot is made from Mizuno’s X10 rubber which has approximately 80% higher abrasion resistance than regular rubber, improving durability. Black rope laces are also offered as an alternate option.
