For the fashion cognoscenti, Feng Chen Wang needs no introduction. And her eponymous label’s foothold only grows deeper with every collection and collaboration, especially moving forward with this first apparel collection with Nike.

Much like her recent release of Crocs’ Siren and Echo silhouettes, the London-based Chinese designer unabashedly displays her futuristic design proclivities.

The maiden Feng Chen Wang x Nike apparel collection subsumes an array of outerwear, t-shirts, and trousers. All imbedded with FCW’s unique design language. She reimagines, deconstructs, and breathes new life into Nike’s athleisure staples. An MO she’s honed over the years with her Nike Air Jordan 1 project in 2018.

An earthy palette traverses through all the pieces, made up of Khaki, Black, Grey, and Olive. Modularity is inherent in her design DNA with her cargo pants transformable into hiking shorts, and jackets into vests. It’s well-equipped with a plethora of gorpcore motifs too with numerous pockets, D-rings, and self-belts.

Neither parties have offered any official word about the upcoming collection but the rumor mill purports that it’ll be released sometime in September. And the images ascertains as much.
