Weeks away from the Berlin Marathon, all eyes are once again on Eliud Kipchoge—and his (super) shoes. He’ll likely break out the Nike AlphaFly 3 for his first competition since April’s Boston Marathon, but the Swoosh continues to produce new colorways of the Nike AlphaFly 2, Kipchoge’s on-feet companion in his sub-two-hour record-breaking marathon.

This latest iteration of the ZoomX AlphaFly NEXT% 2 will arrive clothed in Black ATOMKNIT, with the golden Swooshes traversing from the forefoot. A regal touch, with even more golden hues proliferating on the midsoles, presiding over the cutting-edge ZoomX foam. The exposed Zoom Air pods at the forefoot taken on an achromatic finish stealing no shine from the pair’s other components.

There’s no release date disclosed yet but they are expected to retail for a premium US$275. Stay tuned for more details!
