Luxury golf-oriented brand MARK & LONA reunite with ASICS to take on the GELFLAME GTX. The model was designed as a golf shoe with its DNA rooted in trail running, derivative of the GEL-Trabuco 10 GTX.

The collaboration has produced two colorways: a predominantly “Black”, another “White”. The design’s imbued with M&L’s iron skull emblem as a monogram that engulfs the entirety of the upper.

For its technical specs, a GORE-TEX membrane is integrated onto the upper, amalgamated with recycled polyester yarn. On the heel counter, stability is reinforced with the presence of a TPU mold. Down underfoot, a GEL shock-absorbing system is embedded into the midsole’s heel—rounding out the shoes’ design, bringing together fashion and function for the golf course.

The pair was availed on 30 August exclusively in MARK & LONA’s brick-and-click stores. A wider release will follow on 6 September at select retailers worldwide. Each pair carries an RRP of 42,900 JPY (~US$295).

Elsewhere, the Jordan Spiz’ike Boot adopts the “Black Cat” colorway.
