[Update 27 Nov 2023] More images of the adidas Originals Superstar “Bubble” have come to light. Check them out at the gallery above! They’re the best looks yet with closeups and holistic views of the shoes and their array of colors.

Next to the Stan Smith, the Superstar is one of the quintessence of the Three Stripes. Despite its recognizable form, adidas Originals finds an ingenious way of reinventing the silhouette while retaining its familiarity.

From last year’s PUFFYLETTE to the adiFOM, the Superstar goes through another transformation with the integration of a translucent gradient overlay presiding over the upper.

Dubbed the adidas Originals Superstar “Bubble”, the model is elevated by the plethora of color options available of the aforementioned TPU overlays. Judging from the leaked images, the design seems to be modular. Each piece removable to reveal the original white Superstars underneath.

Information is scant at the moment but more details shouldn’t be far behind with the emergence of the leaks. Stay tuned!
