The Nike Calm Mule “Black” Drops Later This Year
As part of the Swoosh's Holiday roster.
Mules are taking over. Following the initial revelation of Nike’s brand new silhouette, the Nike Calm Mule, new reports have suggested that the “Black” colorway is slated for a release at the end of this year.
For those unaware, the Nike Calm Mule is actually a variant of also-recently announced Nike Calm Slide. Created to match in-vogue trends of simplicity and minimalism, the Nike Calm series takes on a rather smooth and detail-less structure, save for the unmistakable Swoosh logo.
The Nike Calm Mule, which many have pointed out the Birkenstock Boston as its inspiration, modifies the Calm Slide with a fully covered top and an adjustable side strap. The Calm Mule also promises to be a comfortable fit for any, with supportive foam patches on the heel as well as a large ventilation opening on the medial side. In an all-black outfit, the Calm Mule could be a versatile, casual option in any sneakerhead’s rotation.
