Timberland’s Future73 initiative sees various global designers and tastemakers reimagine their catalogue. For the second time, Samuel Ross and his A-COLD-WALL* imprint returns for the Premium 6-Inch Zip Boot and the 3-Eye Lug Handsewn Boat Shoe; this, in addition to a range of apparel as well.

Consistent with ACW’s design language, Ross dresses down the Zip Boot in a smooth jet black leather across the upper. Finishing the pair with a sleek side zipper by the inside heel.

The 3-Eye Lug sees a dark sapphire ripstop material for to form its low-top fit. It’s completed with a tough lug outsole, topped with a water-resistant GORE-TEX membrane.

Predominantly made by master Italian artisans, the British designer noted in a statement that the collection is a “return to craft … the return of family ateliers and the notion of apprenticeship, which needs to be protected.”

Accompanying the two footwear offerings is a small capsule of knitwear, sweatshirts, and pants, as well as a co-branded utility vest.

The collection will be availed on Timberland’s website on 29 August and select global retailers.
