With Teddy Santis at the helm of both Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance’s creative division, the synergy between both brands is at an all-time high. While a New Balance 860v2 was recently released, a 996 could also be in the works.

The label recently revealed their Fall/Winter 2023 Lookbook. While most of the images feature ALD’s tops and bottoms for the upcoming season, one photo in particular stands out from a sneakerhead perspective.

In said imagery, the model is seen wearing a full two-piece suit, and in his left hand is a partial view of the aforementioned New Balance 996. While we don’t get to see the sneaker in full, it does look like the upper will come in jet-black leather. A creamy suede adorns the heel, while a different shade of cream accentuates the 996 via the “N” logo, tongue, and midsole.

There’s no further details regarding the New Balance 996 for now. It’s unclear if the model in question is an official collaboration, or just one of Teddy Santis’ inline releases. Stay tuned for more updates.
