Over the past few months, Nike has been adding illuminating reflective detailing to some of its most popular silhouettes. These include the Nike Dunk Low and the Air Force 1 Low. With the fall season right around the corner, the Beaverton-based brand is doing so once more, this time on the Nike Air Max 90.

Coming in a near-clad black outfit, the Air Max 90 stands deceptively stealthy. Featuring a mix of mesh and leather, the entirety of the sneaker is consumed in jet-black, save for tiny accents of red on the tongue label, heel branding, and visible air unit.

The real surprise, however, comes when you turn off the lights. Reflective detailing is added onto the entirety of the Air Max 90’s mudguard, illuminating an all-over mini Swoosh design along with the iconic “AIR MAX” logo.
