adidas’ basketball ventures in the late 1990s/early 2000s were definitely interesting to say the least. So much so that 20 years on, those retro silhouettes are still polarizing to today’s audience. One such example is the adidas Crazy IIInfinity, set to return in three different colors for the brand’s Fall/Winter 2023 season.

Opting for sleek and futuristic aesthetics entering into the new millennium, adidas created sleek and futuristic silhouettes for Kobe Bryant back when he was still part of the German brand. Just like THE KOBE 1 and 2, this adidas Crazy IIInfinity carries a smooth, lace-less design throughout most of the upper. This latest iteration also takes on the zip-up shroud on the would-be THE KOBE 3, but it never made it to the shelves given the Black Mamba’s switch to the Swoosh in the early 2000s.

The adidas Crazy IIInfinity made its debut during the NBA All-Star Weekend earlier this year, and has since been the subject of much debate online. Definitely, with in-vogue vintage trends still riding high in both the fashion and sneaker worlds, the Crazy IIInfinity will find it’s place with the fashion-forward youth of today.

Therefore, the Three Stripes will finally be pushing out three new colorways for the Crazy IIInfinity as previously mentioned. While official colorway names have not been announced, the collection consists of white, metallic silver, and bronze.

Check them out via the top slider above as we await further release details. In the meantime, check out the adidas Superstar “Into The Metaverse”.
