ASICS has been pushing the GT-2160 to the fore of our attention with collaborations with Dime, Cecilie Bahnsen, and Above the Clouds, amongst others. Riding off the momentum built from these partnerships, the Japanese shoemaker readies an inline release of an “Oatmeal/Simply Taupe” colorway.

The pair, as its name suggests, features several tonal renderings of Taupe dressing the mesh base of the upper and numerous synthetic overlays. It’s further imbued with a leather toe and heel cap, as well as subtle metallic silver accents throughout, subsuming the branding elements. All of the aforementioned sit atop a beige rubberized sole unit with a semi-translucent GEL tech pods.

The pai is expected to retail for US$120 on ASICS, although no firm release date has been disclosed.

It’s likely the pair was released in Japan earlier with it already available on the SNKRDUNK App. Head over see more colorways of the GT-2160.
