The incorporation of football jerseys into one’s outfit has been practiced since the ’70s and ’80s, perpetuated by the biggest football fans in the UK. Now, the pairing is known as “blokecore”. Add a “core” suffix into any word, and it somehow becomes cachet in the insular world of fashion.

Be that as it may, the world of football and street culture are—more than ever—tethered to each other, with more clubs collaborating with independent brands and designers. It’s a growing list that already includes Verdy and Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Drama Call, and most recently Juventus and 032c.

Expounding on football’s street culture connection, none comes as strong as PSG’s. Not only are they under the Jordan Brand’s wings, they’ve had collaborations with BAPE and at least two times with Japanese design wunderkind, Verdy.

Adding to this is an upcoming one from G-Dragon’s PEACEMINUSONE. Teased by the Korean megastar, multi-hyphenate himself, the photos show the specially designed kits for the French football club’s tour in Korea, where they’ll play a friendly against home team Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.

The kit in white features the signature floral motif adorning the jersey numbers of the players at the back. Their names as well as the words “ICI C’EST BUSAN” (meaning “THIS IS BUSAN”) are also struck out, a motif inspired by Basquiat. Blue and red accent the jerseys on the sides of the torso, completing the trifecta of colors of the French flag.

It isn’t known where they’ll be sold, or whether they’ll be a team exclusive. But we’ll provide an update as soon as any information surfaces!

In other news, a fiery New Balance Fresh Foam X Trail More v3 surfaces.
