Coming off its 35th anniversary in 2022, the Nike Air Max 1 still remains at the vanguard of Nike’s releases with another colorway joining the “Athletic Department” collection, a collection meant to pay homage to college sports.

The pair’s affixed with a White mesh base layer, along with neutral-toned overlays on the midfoot panel and heel. Deep Royal nubuck comes upon the pair through the profile Swooshes; mudguards that traverses the circumference of the silhouette; before proliferating at the outsole underfoot.

For added contrast, Teal accents the pair on the tongue tag, heel, insoles, and the forefoot of the outsole. It all comes together through the worn-in midsole atop a black rubber outsole.

There’s no exact release date yet but they’re expected to arrive sometime within the year for US$140. Stay tuned for more details!
