In preparation for the rainy season, Nike is updating its Nike Air Force 1 to withstand the weather. With the Nike Air Force 1 Waterproof already in the pipelines, the Beaverton-based brand is now updating its offerings with a “University Gold” makeover.

This latest iteration might be striking in color, but it’s minimalistic in its construction. The sneaker is dressed in an all-clad “University Gold” makeup, save for its black tongue branding. Everything else comes in the aforementioned yellow shade, utilizing tumbled leather throughout the upper. It’s also kept stealthy, with the seams and profile Swoosh seemingly minimized and hidden. Additionally, the traditional perforated toe box has been covered entirely, ensuring no water seeps in.
