Foot Locker Is Reportedly Going To Sell adidas YEEZYs Again
As soon as August.
[Update 10 Aug 2023] Despite earlier reports that Foot Locker is going to start selling adidas YEEZYs again, it seems like the retailer has decided against it. According to Brendan Dunne of Complex, Foot Locker supposedly made a late U-turn because they were worried about the association to the controversial Ye figure. They also had trouble integrating a charity aspect to its sale of YEEZY products, which further fuelled their decision to not sell YEEZYs anymore.
As of now, it seems like the retailer will not carry adidas YEEZYs anymore. If there are any further developments, we’ll be sure to update you here.
In case you aren’t aware, adidas has started selling its remaining YEEZY stock since June. While this might not be a surprise to most knowing how big of a loss adidas is incurring, the company also received a large amount of backlash for the decision.
Now, rumors are circulating that global footwear retailers Foot Locker will commence selling adidas YEEZYs again as well. While this hasn’t been confirmed by Foot Locker just yet, reliable sources claim that this could happen as soon as the first week of August.
Among the silhouettes rumored, a whole myriad of YEEZY Slides and 350v2s are slated to drop all throughout August, including the likes of the YEEZY Slide “Bone”, “Slate Grey”, and 350v2 “Slate Onyx”.
Only time will tell if these rumors hold true. Stay tuned for more information.
