Filipinos Can Rep Their Country With This New Nike Air Jordan 1 Low “Philippines”
It's no secret: Nobody loves basketball more than Filipinos do in their part of the equator.
Philippines love basketball so much the Jumpman isn’t just a logo, it’s an icon. And the Swoosh acknowledges this by way of country-dedicated shoes such as the Titan x Nike LeBron 19 Low “Beyond The Seas”. Further deepening this connection, they offer another by way of the Nike Air Jordan 1 Low “Philippines”—adorned in the same colors as the nation’s flag.
Crafted from supple leather and textured tumbled materials, the shoe features a White base layer adorned with Blue and Grey overlays on the forefoot, toe, eyestay, and heels. The top eyelets are regaled with striking Metallic Gold, as is the Jumpman embroidered on the toe box—a detail unseen before on other models.
The Jumpman on the tongue gets elevated, debossed on premium White leather. And at the rear, the heels boldly sport the renowned Wings emblem in Gold, a parallel to the sun on the flag. A “23” graphic takes its place on the insoles, before the White midsole and crystal rubber outsoles bring the entire look together.
They’re expected to drop within the coming months although no firm details have been disclosed. They are however, said to retail for US$120. Stay tuned!
