New Balance continues the expansion of its Teddy Santis–led MADE in USA division. Another brick laid comes in the form of the elegant “Black Silver” hue of the the 990v4.

The model’s hallmarks are a mainstay in this iteration with its mesh base layer and all-Black suede overlays. Silver accents give dynamism to the shoe by way of the lateral heel and tongue branding, “N” side logos, perforated leather heel tabs, and upper eyelets.

For a strong contrast, red hits are introduced through the “NB” imprint on the heel and insole. A Black and Grey NDurance rubber outsole and an ENCAP midsole with a Grey tint round out the pair.

There isn’t a firm release date yet but expect them to arrive within the coming months at New Balance stores for US$210. Stay tuned!
