Following past collaborative releases, Japanese fashion label beautiful people and sportswear specialist Mizuno now returns for another fresh take on the Infinity Wave model.

Marking their third collaboration to date, the duo has now set their latest theme on “The ultimate beauty resides in functionality”. Incorporating a skeleton structure of Mizuno’s Chrono Inx 9, the pair sees a mix of various constructive materials on its upper, including suede, nubuck and mesh.

To enhance cushioning and stability, a wave plate is incorporated into the sole, while an upper velcro strap provides a superior fit. Finally, the duo chose a uniform beige color scheme to complete the design.

Pre-orders for the beautiful people x Mizuno Infinity Wave will start from 15 July via beautiful people’s online store, with an official launch set for 29 July. The pair will retail for 39,600 JPY (~US$282).
