atmos Celebrates One Piece Day With a Special Collection
A gem of a collaboration for the biggest fans of the cult classic anime.
Only a cult classic IP like One Piece can have a day dedicated to its debut. Although the original manga was launched on 19 July 1997, the Japan Anniversary Association officially recognizes 22 July as “One Piece Day”. In celebration of its 26th anniversary, atmos releases a collaborative t-shirt capsule.
The designs include Luffy, Law, and Kid in the hallmark wanted poster motif. Therein, each character holds a sneaker most reminiscent of their devil fruit. These will be available solely in white, but the box logo alternate design will be available in black and white, in three different styles.
The box logo tees are imbued with the pirate flags of each character substituting the “o” in “atmos”; the emblems representing the “Straw Hat Pirates”, “Heart Pirates”, and “Kid Pirates”. The design will also be given away as stickers with every purchase.
The collection will be available for purchase on Saturday, 22 July with each item going for 6050 JPY (US$42). Find them on atmos’ brick-and-click stores then!
Do note however, that they’re a limited release and the window to buy them will only run between 22 to 30 July, 11 am–9 pm (JST). But pre-order lottery will open on 14 July, so most eager fans can get a headstart!
Elsewhere, pre-order for Travis Scott’s “Utopia” merch opens as well.
