Concepts x ASICS Returns for a GEL-LYTE V “Libertea” Release
Celebrating 30 years of the silhouette.
Following a GEL-LYTE III “Boston Tea Party” release back in 2015, Concepts and ASICS have officially return for another sneaker collaboration and this time, the duo sets their sight on the GEL-LYTE V model.
Dubbed “Libertea”, the collaborative pair celebrates the 30th anniversary of the silhouette. Paying homage to its 2015 release, the latest pair comes dressed in a similar iconic red, white and blue color scheme, accentuated by gold and silver metallic hits throughout its mesh and suede construction. Rounding off the design comes a wood-patterned shoe box with co-branded details.
“Our relationship with ASICS has allowed some of our most unique storylines and the length of our partnership has given us the time to anniversary product that we’re able to do so with utmost attention to material and execution,” says Deon Point, Concepts’ Creative Director.
While no firm dates have been confirmed for the Concepts x ASICS GEL-LYTE V “Libertea”, an announcement is expected to take place in the coming days from Concepts. Each pair will retail for $150 and be made available in Men’s sizing.
