[Update 24 Jul 2023] A global release of the titular adidas Crazy Infinity “Chalk” have been just scheduled on 26 July. Find them then on adidas brick-and-click stores with an RRP of US$160!
[Update 18 Jul 2023] After months of anticipation, the adidas Crazy Infinity will finally be dropping on 19 July, 11 am (ET), in the “Chalk” colorway. For this arrangement, they’ll be exclusively sold at Packer Shoes for US$160.
Back in February at their “Remember The Why” event during the NBA All-Star Weekend, adidas Basketball offered a peek at a number of their upcoming releases. Along with the return of old favorites like the Top Ten 2010, they also debuted the Crazy IIIninfity, an evolution of the late Kobe Bryant’s Crazy 1 he wore in the early 2000s.
The model shares a similar design language as its naughties predecessor. It features a hardshell exterior that covers the toe through the circumference of the shoe. The fixture’s introduced in off-white for what is ostensibly the silhouette’s debut hue. Imbued with three stripes, trefoils, and inset ornamentation below, the top half of the pair is addressed in black, covering the zipper-fastened veil and the basic lace unit underneath.
Packer’s brand director Victor Kan has featured the shoe on Instagram, and it’s purported that the pair will hit stores “soon”—adidas’ brick-and-click and select retailers like Packer. Release details are scant at the time of writing but there’s reason to assume they’ll surface within the coming weeks.
In the meantime, check out the Nike Runtekk “White/Green”.
