Rumors of Supreme opening up a store in Seoul, South Korea, are once again in overdrive. South Korean skaters are speculating that Supreme will be dropping a special “Taegeuk” box logo tee to commemorate the store opening.
According to trusted sneaker account @le.syndrome, the skating community is abuzz with whispers about the commemorative Supreme box logo tee, whose logo references the South Korean flag “Taegeukgi”.
Reports of Supreme entering the South Korean market first made the news late last year. The store is now said to be located near Dosan Park in Seoul’s luxurious Gangnam district and set to open its doors in summer of 2023.
If things turn out to be indeed true, Supreme South Korea would be the streetwear giant’s second Asian outpost, outside of Tokyo, Japan, and its 15th store worldwide.
