[Update 14 Mar 2024] It’s in the game! The EA Sports x Nike Air Max 90 “Play Like Mad” had a surprise restock yesterday on Nike.com. Grab a pair before they’re gone and stay tuned to SNKRDUNK Magazine for the latest sneaker updates.

EA Sports and Nike are collaborating on a special, limited-edition iteration of the classic Air Max 90. The “Play Like Mad” colorway is to commemorate the release of EA’s latest Madden ’24 on 18 August. Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills quarterback, is the latest marquee athlete of the league to appear on the game’s cover.

Cacao Wow, Game Royal, Velvet Brown, Black, and University Red dress the premium materials of the pair. The smooth Dark Brown leather of the base layer work in tandem with the rough Brown of the overlays that resemble pigskin footballs.

The “Play Like Mad” motto of the game is embossed into the Chocolate Brown mudguard, accented by Royal Blue and Red contrasting colors to reference the NFL’s official colors. Rounding out the aesthetic are the NFL insoles and tongue labels with the EA Sports logo. Additionally, the sneaker will be housed and shipped in a collab-specific packaging.

A release date hasn’t been announced but they’re expected to drop on SNKRS within the coming months for US$140. Stay tuned for an update!
