Despite being undrafted in 2021, Austin Reaves has nonetheless built a strong NBA career to date. Reaves is ready to release his first trademark shoe, coming off a strong postseason performance that may earn him a $50 million to $80 million contract.

Reaves posted a video on Instagram from an April interview he had on the experience of having his own signature basketball shoe with Chinese sportswear company Rigorer with NBA insider Shams Charania.

Therein he shares, “I’m honestly blessed. If you had told me I would have had a signature shoe at 18, I would have looked at you and called you a liar. There are only about 20-something people in the NBA that have a signature shoe,” Reaves said. “I’m blessed to play basketball for a living and I have to pinch myself sometimes to really understand what’s going on.”

Reaves’ Rigorer AR-1 signature shoe features a black upper adorned with the Los Angeles Lakers’ purple and gold. On the profiles are Rigorer’s bullseye logos, and the tongue is imprinted with its namesake’s.

Expect them to be available in select retailers and Rigorer’s own website sometime in the summer. Stay tuned!
