The Incoming Nike Inifinity 4 Gets Updated With the Latest React X Foam
A 13% improvement in energy return compared to its predecessor.
[Update 14 Jul 2023] Some new images have emerged of Nike’s latest performance runner: the InfinityRN 4. Check them out at the image gallery above and look out for them in the Swoosh’s brick-and-click stores sometime in August!
More than half a century since its founding, Nike has a slice of the pie in almost every sport. But their pedigree was built on running. Even if their contemporaries have been hot on their heels, even with advancement in sports technology, the Swoosh remains at the front of this race (even if sometimes by the brand’s sheer popularity alone). In continuance of this legacy, comes the Nike Infinity 4. A first look emerged on Reddit forums, and Instagram courtesy of running influencer @benjohnson763.
It’s retrofitted in many aspects. The most important one being the integration of the latest React X foam listed to have a 13% improvement in energy return over the prior React.
According to Ben, “The Infinity has been a reliable daily trainer in past models. Featuring good stability, high cushion, and a rocker midsole. This model has a Flyknit upper and waffle outsole. The midsole is all new sculpting and appears to have the stability clip built into the midsole (instead of a wraparound clip).”
Early reviews on Reddit have been mostly positive as well. They’ve been released in Korea but a wider global release should be in order soon. Stay tuned for an update!
In the mean time, check out the White Mountaineering x MERRELL Wrapt Mid Waterproof.
