The PUMA Voltaire OG Summons the ’90s Back in “Pristine/Dusty Tan”

The Voltaire OG is a design overhaul of the Disc System Voltaire, an outdoor cross-training shoe from the ’90s dormant within PUMA’s archives. This contemporary interpolation combines the elements of the outdoors and vintage cross-training by way of the aggressive outsole design and strap details.

Dusty Tan addresses the base layer of the pair, given contrast by the black accents and overlays that lands over its mesh and synthetic make (20% of which are recycled materials). Moreover, PUMA’s Formstripes take their place on the profiles, presided over by the zigzag lacing system and TPU eyelets. A darker Tan lands on the IMEVA midsole, adjacent to the non-slip, abrasion-resistant outsole that extends from the toe to the heel.

The pair is finished off with PUMA Trinomic TPU patches on the tongue and heel, and the titular Pristine purple that accents the pair on the midsole and the notable zigzag laces that wraps the shoe.

They’re scheduled for release on 17 June in Japan for 19,800 JPY (~US$143), although some retailers in Europe like Overkill already have the shoes listed. Nevertheless, find them on PUMA in a few days if you’re considering getting them!
