[Update 23 May 2024] Months since they first surfaced, the retrofitted Craig Green x adidas Retropy Full BOOST Low, and Retropy Sandals will finally arrive on 28 May. The former will go for 46,200 JPY (~US$295), the latter 36,300 JPY (~US$232). Stay tuned for official images in the coming days!

adidas has remained relatively open-minded when it comes to their collaborations, having incorporated the design aesthetic of various luxury brands; from the Gucci x adidas Lace-Up Boot to the Wales Bonner x adidas Sambas. And with their enduring collaboration with Craig Green, the Three Stripes offer him the same carte blanche.

Images of the titular pair recently emerged, courtesy of @kicksaluoluo2. Using the Retropy E5’s BOOST sole unit as the foundation, the upper sees a well-balanced suede and leather construction with a rope motif traversing between them throughout the pair’s surface. It amalgamates the breathability of a sandal while incorporating the comfort of a modern sneaker’s sole unit.

Not much is known about the pair at the time of writing but more details should emerge, following these leaked images.
