Stay Fed With Vans’ “Asia City Exclusive” Collection
Inspired by the Orient's best cuisines.
If you’re hungry for more Vans, then you’re in luck. New images of an upcoming pack have just emerged, courtesy of @le.syndrome. Unofficially addressed as “Asia City Exclusive”, the motif is inspired by cuisines some of the best in the Orient has to offer; from cities like Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, Chengdu, and Changsha.
Five pairs are subsumed into the pack shared between classics and contemporary models. The Era sees an entirely pink upper with a checkered midsole conjuring the colors of Asia’s iconic desserts; the Skate Mid bears a scruffed motif reminiscent of charcoal-grilled dishes; the Slip-On keeps the brand’s signature checkered pattern, its colorway inspired by Korea’s (or Macau’s by origin) famous Dalgona; the Knu Skool in a black–white makeup resembling sushi; with the last, the Old Skool dressed in a uniform off white adopting the hues of cooked street snacks.
Vans haven’t offered word in any official capacity. Nevertheless, more details should emerge imminently with these images coming to light. Stay tuned!
