The Nike Kobe 8 Proto “Radiant Emerald” and “Court Purple” Arrives 8 February
The first wave of many in the Nike Kobe line revival.

Last year, Kobe Bryant’s estate inked a new deal with Nike to assure that the Kobe line will live on. This means many posthumous releases of new colorways and retros. Following the Nike Zoom Kobe 4 Protro “Mambacita”, comes the “Radiant Emerald” and “Court Purple” hues of the Kobe 8 Protro.
Insofar as its technical features, the upper will feature an engineered mesh body, uniform synthetic overlays, with pebble-grain leather around the collar and heels. The sole unit will be integrated with a Lunarlon midsole and Zoom Air cushioning technology.
Aesthetically, white will form much of the base layer of the upper and the top of the midsoles. The titular colors are then assigned onto the laces, tongue imprints, profile Swooshes, the interior, and the Kobe autograph on the lateral heel. The colors then make a final flourish underfoot engulfing the outsoles.
Do note that these images are a mockup. Official looks should arrive within the coming months ahead of its spring 2024 release. Get your hands on the pairs then with an RRP of US$190.
