A collaborative capsule with Tremaine Emory’s Denim Tears and Dior is one the most recent collaborative endeavors that luxury labels have engaged to permeate through the streetwear scene. The founder of the self-described “African-American sportswear” label and Kim Jones have worked together to design a full line of clothing and shoes, the latter of which Thibo Denis, the head footwear designer for men at Dior, had teased last year.

Emory adopts the low-slung design from the French fashion house, delivering a myriad of colours with various hues, textures, and patterns. Three of the designs bear suede uppers with alternating striped lateral and medial panels, with smoother overlays on the heels and toe boxes.

A beige pair with Rastafarian and African American flag-inspired highlights is lined up alongside a blue pair with notes of yellow stripes, a brown pair with red stripes. The next sees stripes that are an amalgamation of both aforementioned colors.

Completing the lineup, comes a pair that blends the floral symbol and signature monogram of Dior on the side panel. On the underside of the midsoles is a Dior bumper panel with the stylized address of the Dior Paris flagship.

Not much has been disclosed since it was first unveiled but stay tuned for more updates, right here at this very page!

Till then, have a look at Aimé Leon Dore and Timberland’s 3-eye classic lug shoe.
