Shanghai-based sneaker and lifestyle brand HONOR23 is set to join forces with Japanese sportswear label ASICS for a collaborative take on the GEL-SPOTLYTE LOW V2.

The collaborative work follows from ASICS LAND, a city tour held in China aimed to promote the culture and exclusive content by the sportswear label. This release looks back to the history of the country with Terracotta Army, a collection of sculptures representing the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China.

Colors found on the sculptures are utilized on the aforementioned pair with cinnabar red, azurite, purple, carbon black, apatite hues, before co-branded details on the velcro strap and lace tabs complete the design.

Slated to arrive on 13 May, a special event for the HONOR23 x ASICS GEL-SPOTLYTE LOW V2 will be held at HONOR23, China, Xi’An. Retail will be set at 990 RMB (~US$143) for the pair.
