New Balance’s annual “Grey Day” has been an anticipated affair among its most ardent fans. The event celebrates the hallmark grey palette that’s come to be synonymous with the Bostonian shoemakers. Subsumed under the New Balance Grey Day 2023 lineup, comes the titular “Moon Daze” pack consisting of four beloved silhouettes unified by a color palette of grey, accented by tonal blues.

First in line is the basketball icon, 550, embellished with pre-worn details to establish NB’s signature vintage aesthetic. It’s followed next by the 580, first introduced in 1996 as a performance trail runner. The pair is developed with a slim toe design that uses SL-1 last while maintaining the solid appearance of the 90’s equipped with ROLLBAR.

Moving onto more modern designs, the 90/60, reconstructed by combining the technology and shape of the 900 series while integrated with the performance calibre of the “860” from the early 2000s. Lastly, the Fresh Foam X More Trail v3. Where NB is best known for their vintage models, the aforementioned stands on the other end of the spectrum as the most contemporary.

All the pairs mentioned will be released on 12 May, together with the rest of the Grey Day 2023 collection. Find them on New Balance’s website then with a price point between US$140 to US$220.
