Multi-faceted visionary Pharrell made fashion headlines when was appointed as the Creative Director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear two months ago. While he’s no doubt hard at work to present his first collection for the luxury giants during Paris Fashion Week later in June, the French luxury house has chosen to release a special apparel collection with Pharrell ahead of schedule.

To clear the air, this collection is not designed by Pharrell. Instead, it’s officially designated as a collaboration, in celebration of Pharrell’s Something in the Water music festival which took place on 28-30 April.

To highlight the collection, a huge Louis Vuitton branded pyramid on the sandy shores of Virginia Beach. The special capsule included a checkered denim jacket, hoodie, and t-shirts. Pharrell’s Something in the Water festival, takes center stage for the design of these apparel, with his hometown slogan “Virginia is For Lovers” coming with a LV spin.
