Field Trip Records’ Zack Bia To Have His Own Nike Air Max Pulse
A nod to Bia's DJ career.
Following news of the Field Trip Records x Nike x Verdy collaboration, it has been confirmed that the former two are working on a sneaker as well. Specifically, the Beaverton-based brand’s latest Air Max silhouette, the Nike Air Max Pulse.
Field Trip Records’ co-founder and club promoter Zack Bia recently showcased the new shoe on his Instagram. Inspired by and packaged like CDJs, the Zack Bia x Nike Air Max Pulse “CDJ” comes in an all-clad jet black makeup, save for a tiny hint of red appearing on the midpanel’s mini Swoosh. An additional layer made out of nylon mesh and nubuck wraps around the upper, creating a futuristic look that any DJ would be proud to wear.
Elsewhere, CDJ motifs appear in the form of a play/pause graphic on the midsole, while “CH1” and “CH2” appears on the heel tab. “FTR” also sits on the heel of both sneakers—representing Field Trip Records, while Zack Bia’s initials comes embossed on the tongue’s zipper and tab.
