2023 officially marks 20 years since the inception of Yohji Yamamoto and adidas’ collaborative output with Y-3. Celebrating the occasion, the Japanese label is set to release a special anniversary edition of the Stan Smith.

Dressed in a classic black and white color scheme, the pair sees a premium smooth leather upper construction, equipped with a rubber outsole. On the shoe tongue comes a special “Endorsed by:” imprint with Yohji Yamamoto’s face underneath it. The Japanese designer’s signature on the footbed then adds the final touch to the design.

No exact release dates were announced for the Y-3 20th Anniversary Stan Smith yet, but do expect the pair to arrive in the Summer season via adidas and Y-3 retailers.
